Western Great Wall At Jiayuguan

A group picture of us in front of the moat right in front of the Jiayuguan fort. We were the only visitors to the fort that day. Don't let our kiasu winter getups fool you.. it was a lot warmer than Xiahe. We took this picture out of one of the gates of the fort...
Walking along the walls of the fort looking into the courtyard.

The looooooooong and steeeeeeep overhanging Great Wall of China (Western End ) : before we ascended.
A model shot of a composed me , before i go into status asthmaticus while climbing.
Sats definitely dropping here ... (midpoint of climb)

Look at that snakey path leading us back to the bottom ..

Crawling like Evanescence on steroids..
"My preeeeccciiiiooooooouuuusss"
The legendary figures egging us onwards ho, on the beginning of our Silk Road adventure.
